I am currently a graduate student at RWU. While my classes are long, I have breaks throughout the day to check in, feed, or walk! Please note: I tend to work on weekends, usually 5-hour shifts. If booked far enough in advance, I can accomodate for dogs who cannot be left alone that long. However, I cannot promise to check in every 4 hours if I work!

In your home, I will strictly follow any rules or safety precautions you have in place. I am comfortable crating dogs, using harnesses, and leashes. With cats, I am used to ensuring that there are no choking hazards such as cords, plastic bags, etc.

Let me know if your dog or cat needs to be administered medication at any time. I have experience giving oral medication, but not injections, and I am happy to learn. I would also love to know how they get along with other pets out in public and if they are leash-trained.
A typical day
I love to explore the outdoors with dogs, whether that's through a long walk in the park, on a trail, or just a fun car ride. We'll have lots of fun exploring and then play with some toys in the home or backyard. After we've been playing all day, we'll snuggle up on the couch!

Hi there! My name is Julia, and I am an avid dog and cat lover! I've grown up with a pet since I was ten years old, with my childhood cat Scout! When I was 17, I finally got my dream pup, Shaye! From a young age, I have been in charge of changing kitty litter, scheduled feedings, taking long walks in the park, and taking the best care of my fur family. Throughout the last couple of years, family and friends have trusted me with watching over their cats and dogs. I am very schedule-oriented and am always on time to feed, walk, or clean up. I love keeping them in the loop with pictures of their pets while they are gone and keeping them updated. I loved exploring parks with my dog, taking her on long car rides, and giving all the love and attention she needs and I would do the same for your dog or cat! :)

Julia was absolutely fantastic. We had her dog sit while on vacation. Our dog is high maintenance as she has allergies, is a picky eater, and pulls on the leash during walks. I was worried it would be too much for her but she did great! Our dog absolutely adores her.
