I’ve always been a big animal gal — growing up, I insisted on having fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even rats (though not all at once!). Most of all, I loved my big yellow lab, Opie. 🏡🐶🐱 When I moved to Charlotte in 2018, I quickly adopted my cat, Luna (now 7; 9lb) and in 2020 my dog, Aurora (now 6; 55lb). We live in a house in Wilmore (South End) with a fenced yard and access to great neighborhood walks! 🐶 Aurora is a very friendly gal who loves making new friends! She is comfortable sharing her space, treats, walks, and toys with others. 🐈⬛ Luna tolerates dogs in her space, lol. In the case of doggy day care or boarding, it’s very important to me that your pup is friendly toward (or even better, completely uninterested in) cats! I also have a crate and am able to supervise the multi-pet dynamic while I’m home and crate them while I’m away!

Great experience! Julia was very responsive, she sent regular updates and photos which was amazing. She was also incredibly flexible when my travel plans changed last minute and extended the stay without any issues. Highly recommend!

Julia is a great pet-sitter! She’s very attentive and great at anticipating their needs. My dog likes humans more than other dogs and always runs to Julia because she knows she’ll get some amazing snuggles. 10/10 would recommend Julia!
Julia takes my dog Cuffy every friday to the park. I drop him off with her and he gets so excited to hang with her. She is so great with him and he is always disappointed when she drops him back off at my apartment while I’m at work. She is caring and truly loves animals. Fully trust her with him and believe she would a great rover care giver
I couldn't recommend Julia enough! She makes animals feel incredibly welcome and cared for while also tending to their needs. She’ll always take cute photos so you know they’re safe. Both of my dogs feel at peace with her. She is also amazing with cats! Your pets will be in great hands.

Schedule
🗓️ Because I work unconventional hours (late afternoons and evenings), I’m available for walks in the morning and early afternoon ☀️ I do not work on Sundays and Mondays and am available for more frequent care/potty breaks on those days! I’m available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 2:30PM and after 9:30PM! Fridays and Saturdays are available for pups who don’t mind hanging out with my pup while I’m at work most of the day 🫡

Safety, trust & environment
In the case of doggy day care or boarding, I live in a two-bedroom home with fenced-in yard and a furry companion (Aurora) to offer up! Potty breaks are readily available while I’m home, and my neighborhood is great for walks! My dog is 55 pounds, and I am comfortable walking with larger dogs. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can be crated if needed. If I’m dropping in to your home, I will of course be respectful of your space and treat it how I’d want you to treat mine!

A typical day
Because I am in a house with a yard, outdoor potty and play breaks are readily available! My dog and I go on a daily long walk and take weekly trips to the Whitewater Center dog park (with another doggy friend of ours). There are also plenty of toys within my home that my dog is comfortable sharing, and pets are allowed on all of the furniture in my home.
