I’m naturally very patient, attentive, and affectionate with animals, and they tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels, whether they’re playful, shy, anxious, or older and needing a gentler approach. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away, and I’m happy to keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a safe, pet-friendly apartment building near Prospect Park with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a cat of my own, so I’m very mindful about creating a calm, clean, and safe environment for animals. I also have a separate second bedroom/home office that can be used to give pets extra space, privacy, or separation if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, responsible, and attentive to maintaining their usual routine so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, exercise needs, medications, household rules, and any specific behaviors or preferences. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel informed and reassured while they’re away.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of attention, play, and exercise tailored to your pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, I love taking long walks through Prospect Park where they can explore, sniff, and enjoy being outside. If your dog enjoys being social, I’m also happy to visit dog parks for supervised play and socialization. At home, I make sure pets stay engaged with playtime, toys, enrichment activities, and of course plenty of affection and cuddles. I also like incorporating treats into play and positive reinforcement when appropriate. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, stimulated, comfortable, and cared for throughout the day.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their personality, routine, energy level, and any special needs so I can make them feel as comfortable and safe as possible. It’s especially helpful to know about feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, allergies, triggers, and how they interact with other animals or new people. For dogs, I also like to know their leash behavior, recall, comfort level at dog parks, and any training cues they already know. For cats, I like to know their hiding spots, favorite toys, social preferences, and any sensitivities to noise or change.
