Pet care experience

Simple changes, powerful results

With three summers of experience as a veterinary technician, I’ve had the privilege of working hands-on with animals of all kinds—puppies, senior pets, and everything in between. From administering medications to assisting in procedures, I’ve cared for animals at every stage of health and training. I’m currently studying to become a veterinarian at the University of Wyoming, where I also compete as a student-athlete on the track and field team. My life revolves around animal care, and I bring that same dedication, focus, and passion to every pet I look after. Whether your pet needs patience, playtime, or specialized care, I’m here to help in any way I can.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m taking care of pets in my home or yours, I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick closely to their usual routine. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, or giving medications. In your home, I do my best to keep things tidy and calm so your pet feels right at ease in their familiar space. If your pet stays with me, they’ll have a cozy, pet-friendly environment with lots of attention and care. With my vet tech background, I’m confident handling pets of all ages and health needs, and I always keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get the love and care they deserve.

I came home to happy pups and a clean home! Julia was also very responsive, and happy to take on a dog who had some special instructions because of a recent surgery.

Julia was great and I so appreciated all of the check-ins and updates while she cared for our dog. It truly put me at ease and her communication throughout was exceptional. I would definitely hire her again.

Julia was so helpful with our little pup and took great care of her! We’d love to have her help us out any time. She took time to get to know her and her routine prior to the walks.

Schedule

I’m currently home for the summer from college, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide reliable, consistent care. I'm looking to earn some extra money doing something I genuinely enjoy—spending time with animals. Whether it’s daily walks, check-ins, or extended stays, I’m available whenever needed and happy to accommodate your pet’s routine and needs.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, medical needs, behavioral quirks, energy level, and how they do around other animals or people. I also like to know what they enjoy (or dislike), any training cues you use, and anything that helps them feel safe and comfortable.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
