Hi, My name is Julia and up until a couple years ago I used to have a large black pit/lab mix named Cash (after Johnny Cash ☺️). I had him for almost 8 years since he was a puppy and trained him myself (I even got him therapy dog certified so I could take him to work with me at the hospital sometimes). I have experience taking care of him as well as friends/family dogs of all breeds and sizes from puppies to senior dogs. Unfortunately, he battled cancer for almost two years and he lost that battle rather recently 😔. While I’m not ready to get a dog of my own quite yet, nothing makes me happier than being around & taking care of dogs! Keeping dogs safe and happy is a priority to me! I really love all animals of all breeds, but especially love dogs! ❤️ In my free time and as I travel, I volunteer with local dog shelters & foster as I’m able to. I work fully remotely and have a flexible schedule. I am happy to come to you and explore new neighborhoods/parks with your dog. Please let me know if I can help you with any of your dog walking or house sitting needs! If you have any special requests, I would be happy to accommodate so please just let me know what you need! Julia was absolutely fantastic with my dog who is not the greatest with new people usually. She did amazing work with my dogs quirks, took amazing care of her, and went above and beyond. She would regularly get toys and long lasting treats to keep her entertained in addition to regular walks and outings. I was nervous about boarding my dog for the first time, and Julia alleviated all my worries! Sent regular pictures and videos. Definitely recommend!
I have known Julia for over ten years. She has always had a warm, upbeat personality, and showed incredible drive and passion for her professional medical career and for her pets. Recently, Julia's best friend - Cash, a beautiful black pitbull, was diagnosed with cancer and she has not spared a moment in researching and fundraising all of the best possible protocols to get her baby back in good health. I am confident in her love and care of dogs, and would highly recommend her as a dog walker or sitter to my friends and family.
Julia did an amazing job of taking care of my cat while I was away for almost two weeks. She was very responsive, flexible with times and schedule changes, and always sent adorable pictures and videos. I could tell my Bella really loved having Julia watch her, and warmed up right away. I would definitely use Julia again, and recommend her for anyone's fur babies!
Julia has watched and taken care of my two dogs for many years now and does an excellent job. She always cares for them as if they were her own dogs. She is very trustworthy, responsible, and loving as well as very timely and has excellent communication.
Julia has does an incredible job raising and training her dog, Cash. I believe her career in mental and behavioral health has helped her be able to understand dogs behavior better. She has also volunteered at animal shelters and helps watch friends/family dogs whenever possible. She is very loving, caring, and responsible - she will not let you down!
Julia is always super attentive with my boys! She is always timely and communicative. She walks, feeds, and plays with my boys! Love the descriptive updates she sends! We love Julia!

Schedule
I currently work remotely from home so I will have plenty of time to look after and play with your dog/cat! I’m available for drop-ins during the week and weekends and can accommodate pet boarding & house sitting on an as needed basis - reach out to me and let me know your needs and I will try to accommodate as best I can.

A typical day
I love to explore new neighborhoods and places, especially as I am new to the area, it gives me all the more reason to find new places! I like staying active so would love to take your dog along with me wherever I can whether on runs, walks, or hikes. Even just going to the park to throw the ball around or playing with toys at home will make for a great day!
