I am a nurse in the Columbia area. I love animals and have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, exotics, and livestock. I've cared for dogs with behavior problems such as aggression, biting, and possessiveness. I've given meds and cared for special needs animals. I share my home with a big, adorable lab mix as well as birds and small pets. I volunteer at Boone County Animal Care and a wildlife rehab.. I also foster for the Central Missouri Humane Society. All of my animals are happy, healthy, and living their best life! I can care for dogs and small animals in my home or drop in on your pet in your home. I am always available to answer questions!

I have a yard with a 6-foot, secure wooden fence. My home is near a trail and peaceful neighborhood perfect for walks. I have a friendly dog of my own who adores other dogs. When I am away from the house, I have a Furbo camera which alerts me to barking and movement and allows me to communicate with pets. I can also leave a movie on for pets that enjoy it.

Julia did a great job for two nights with our dogs. I had special instructions for food and medicine along with an insulin shot for one. She was dependable and responsible and the dogs liked her. I recommend her to care for your pets.
Our dog loves Julia and she always does an amazing job wether she is house sitting or doing drop ins.

My availability depends on my work schedule. Currently, I'm free weekdays after 2pm, with weekends open. I occasionally have extra days off work-- feel free to ask!
