WFH—I am very flexible!
Hi! My name is Julia and I have loved dogs since we got our first (springer spaniel, Max) when I was 3. My family has had dogs as small as a Pomeranian and as big as a Bernese Mountain dog, so I have plenty of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I used to work for rover while I was in pharmacy school and frequently would do house visits/stays, but now that I have my own house I’d love to welcome dogs here! I am just getting back on rover after taking a break in 2020. We have a yard that borders with a farm, so very quiet and peaceful for the dogs. We have a very nice neighborhood we like to take our dog on walks in. We are a very dog friendly house (lots of toys & treats). I know it can be hard boarding your pet while gone—dogs are like family at our house and they would be welcomed with warm paws!

Julia provided exceptional care for our mini golden doodle, Linus. We just got back from the beach and could not be more grateful to her for the care she provided to our 10 month old Linus. Leaving our pup for the first time was a bit nerve-wracking, especially since he is still young and full of energy. She provided regular updates and photos to show he was adjusting well and happy. We highly recommend Julia, we will be reaching out again.

Schedule
I currently work fully remote. I have two breaks and a lunch I can walk dogs or let out during, then for the rest of the day we can be flexible based on the dogs needs.

Safety, trust & environment
We have one dog, Atlas (2 year old, neutered, golden retriever), who is extremely friendly and gets along with other dogs. We typically like to take him to the dog park or walk him at least once a day.
Pets
A typical day
We love playing ball and even spending time outside while it’s warm! We have a lead outside that the dogs can be hooked up to, but we can also accommodate if leashes outings work best. Atlas typically relaxes with us on the couch or follows us around the house. We can always adjust our routine based on your dog’s needs. On weekends we love hiking and taking our pup with us or finding a place for them to swim!
