Trustworthy and reliable Pet Care
I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a child. I've had 2 Huskies (at the same time) so I know what it's like to control strong dogs who love to run. Currently i only accept small dogs under 20lbs. My current dog is small who loves nothing better than to have a pal to play with. All of the dogs I have had have lived out their lives well into their senior years. Some with health challenges. I will be kind and loving to your dog while in my care treating them as I would my own.

Truly nowhere else I would feel so comfortable leaving our girls. They're so excited to get out of their carriers and see Julia and whichever of their small dog friends are there too.
Julia was a very kind and caring sitter who took excellent care of Barney. She was also very accommodating with the early morning drop-off time I had requested, which I really appreciated. Her little pup, Jenny, is very loving and provided wonderful company as well. Barney was happy and well cared for, and I would gladly book with Julia again. Highly recommended!
A wonderful experience - while we were away and our girls were on their ‘retreat’ they were cared for with absolute love. Our dogs became part of their family, and the daily photos let us know that the girls were both settling in and then perfectly at home. The girls got into their regular habits, playing with each other, sleeping on the back of the couch, and Julia even held an umbrella for Scarlett when it rained! Would send the girls on retreat again any time!
This was our first time having our rescue stay with Julia. She was as welcoming and wonderful as ever, never a doubt Penny would do so well! Always grateful for the wonderful care Julia provides.

Schedule
I'm currently retired and looking to fill my days with work that will keep me active and fulfilled. What better way than to do something I love!

Safety, trust & environment
My home has a fenced backyard with direct access from the house. For overnight care I have no issues if your pup wants to cuddle up on the bed at night. I live in a great neighborhood for walking with access to parks and forested areas.
Pets
A typical day
Long walks to parks or forrested areas. For dogs that are off leash with excellent recall throwing balls or Frisbee. My dog loves to play fetch and will gladly share her toys.
