Experienced dog professional!

Pet care experience

My name is Julia and I'm 28 years old. I have been petsitting since my early teenage years. Dogs have always been my calling — and over the past few years, I've turned that passion into real expertise! I got my start in professional pet care in 2024, and what began as dog walking quickly grew into something much deeper. I went on to work with a dog training company and then a nonprofit dedicated to training service dogs — where I gained hands-on knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and how to work with all kinds of dogs in all kinds of situations. One of my most meaningful experiences there was assisting with whelping and helping raise neonatal puppies in their earliest, most critical days of life :) I specialize in dogs that need a little extra patience and understanding: anxious or reactive dogs, senior pups slowing down, energetic puppies still figuring out the world, large breeds that need a confident and calm presence, and multi-dog households. Whatever your dog's personality, I meet them where they are! When your dog is in my care, they're not just being watched — they're being genuinely looked after by someone who understands them from their very first breath. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting. I'd love to meet your pup. Feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to do a quick meet-and-greet before you book!

Julia is absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our 7- and 8-year-old dogs overnight with someone, so we were a bit nervous at first, but she made the entire experience completely stress-free. She even came by twice beforehand to meet the dogs and help us feel more comfortable. While we were away, she sent plenty of updates and photos, which we really appreciated, and she left our home exactly as we had it. Our dogs clearly had the best time..they’ll definitely be excited to see her again, and I’m pretty sure she played with them way more than they’re used to! We couldn’t recommend her more!

Julia’s been such a great addition to Avy’s little world! We love that Julia spends quality time with Avy and does little extras when she’s here! I know it makes Avy happy!!

Julia was amazing and took great care of my cat. She gave him all of his meds, followed all instructions and cleaned up the messes that my sick kitty made. She really was great!
