Hello, my name is Julia! I was born and raised in Houston, but received my Bachelor's of Science degree from Colorado State University. I grew up with cats, but have always loved dogs. I have been dog sitting for about 11 years. I am very comfortable around them and understand the responsibility that comes with owning a pet. I love animals and always shower them with love and affection. I understand how important exercise and engagement is and will take your dog for long walks/runs (if appropriate) and play with them. One summer I enrolled in a summer class about the behavior and biology of dogs. This course provided me with further insight into the behaviors of a dog and has made me more conscientious with how I hold myself and approach a dog. I have experience with all different types of breeds and am open to all! I am available for dog sitting/walking, drop-in visits, and cat sitting.

If there are any rooms that the pet is not allowed in, I will ensure that they are closed off. While I am outside with the pet, I will make sure I have eyes on them at all times, and that they remain on a leash if I’m a public place.

Julia's care for dogs is evident in the variety of dogs she has worked with, her knowledge of various breeds and understanding the behaviors of dogs. This information has broadened her skills and understanding as a dog caregiver. She has a natural love of this animal and it shows whenever she is with a dog. Finally, she uses her creativity to devise games with some of the dogs she has cared for, such as "hide and seek". Dog owners will be very satisfied with the care Julia gives to their pets.

Schedule
I am not working at the moment, so my schedule is very available to take care of your fur babies! I am looking for work or volunteer work in town, so my schedule is subject to change. However I expect it to remain flexible.
