Reliable Lakeview pet helper specializing in cat and dog care, drop-ins, and neighborhood walks. As a cat owner, longtime dog walker and sitter, and general animal lover, I’d love to get to know your pet. I worked through Wag and Rover in college and have been pet sitting, house sitting, and walking dogs for years. I’ve cared for all kinds of personalities, from police-trained Bernese Mountain Dogs to grumpy gray cats who ended up wanting cuddles after a Churu. One time, I even ended up taking care of chickens! But I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly. I’m detail-oriented, communicative, and careful about following care instructions closely. I send clear updates and photos, and I take routines seriously—feeding, medication, litter, water, play, and check-ins done carefully and consistently. I’m a great fit for nearby pet parents who want thoughtful, dependable care and someone who will pay attention to the details.

Safety, trust & environment
In a client’s home, I try to keep things as consistent and low-stress as possible. I follow care instructions closely, keep routines stable, and pay attention to details—feeding, water, litter, walks, medication, play, and any behavior changes. I’m respectful of the home, careful about safety, and I make sure pets are secure and comfortable before I leave. I also send clear updates and (often funny or perfectly timed) photos so you know how things are going. I’m not currently offering pet care in my own home, so my focus is on providing care in your pet’s usual environment, where they’re often most comfortable.

Julia was amazing with Mango! It was my first time using Rover and she made the experience so easy. She was very communicative and provided thorough updates throughout the stay which gave me great peace of mind. Mango clearly loved her and she was attentive to his playtime and made sure he ate his food.
Julia is delightful to work with. She was responsible, thoughtful in her feedback, took her time to give my dog the exercise and care he needed.
Julia has taken care of my cats for me multiple times, and always does an amazing job. She always shows so much care and compassion when visiting them and makes time to make sure they have play time, as well as handling all the feeding tasks extremely well.

Schedule
I work full time in a hybrid-role, so pet care fits into my routine best in the evenings and on weekends, with some additional flexibility early mornings. I keep things local very intentionally so I can actually be reliable and not spend unnecessary time in transit when I could be with your pet. That makes me a especially good fit for drop-ins, walks, and pets who do well with thoughtful, consistent check-ins.
