Dogs & Cats R Us
We welcome your pet into our home and will accommodate their needs. Dogs will be housed between our Garden apartment and the upstairs kitchen both of which have direct access to the backyard with plenty of roaming and playtime. Cats are lodged in the rest of the house where there is ample climbing and playtime. Pick-up and drop-off may be available based on availability. Cost based on travel time. Grooming may also be availability upon advanced request.

My dog Shep is nervous in stormy weather, and unfortunately while we were away, there were quite a few thunderstorms (typical for summer in DC!). Julia and Lily were extremely patient with Shep and gave him lots of comfort when he was anxious. He came home happy and tired from a fun week away. it was reassuring to know that he was in good hands while we were gone!
Julia was extremely patient with my anxious duo and quick to respond to all my queries. I would highly recommend her

My Aussie and Pug stayed with Julia and Lily on short notice and had a fantastic stay. They were treated with love and attention, nice backyard to roam in, lots of photos and communication and the pups were happy when I came to pick them up! I would definitely recommend them!

Schedule
Mother/daughter team will make sure to provide the best care and attention and follow individual instruction for care. We are home most of the time to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet is invited to join us in our home. Dogs are lodged in the kitchen and/or garden apartment with direct backyard access.Human sleeps in apt when dogs are here. There is lots of room to roam and playtime with humans and orher dogs alike. Cats are lodged upstairs and we can accommodate depending on their own needs and personality. It is also helpful to have their crate and/or bed so they have a familiar space and can get some respite from other cats if needed. They start off in their own space then acclimate to wandering around the house at their leisure. We accommodate what they “tell” us they are comfortable with.

There is plenty of room to roam and play in the backyard. Dogs will be given outdoor time at minimum every 4-8 hours or more often as needed.
