I have enjoyed the company of dogs all of my life and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I enjoy getting to know a dog’s character and their own unique personality. I know how important it is to find the right person, that you can trust and rely on and who treats your dog like family. I’m punctual, communicative and genuinely passionate about animal wellbeing.

Amazing as ever. Reggie had a great holiday with Julia in her home while we headed off to Greece without him. As with her previous dog walking and boarding, we had absolutely no concerns about leaving him in her capable and caring hands. Her home is a perfect place for our fun loving Reggie. Her home is well equipped and thought through in relation to dog boarding - from garden security, positioning of dog beds, right through to the doggie toy box, which Reggie headed straight to on his second stayover. Julia went out of her way to accommodate what we needed in terms of dates and timing. We knew he'd have his regular routine, lots of attention, cuddles and play. We didn't need reassuring, but her regular updates and photos were lovely to see and it was clear he wasn't missing us at all! We feel very lucky to have found Julia as a dog walker and for boarding.
I can’t quite express how thrilled and thankful we are to have found Julia! She’s everything we could ask for in a sitter and our little dog, Heidi had the best time! She was warm and friendly, and loved and cared for Heidi as if she was her own. Communication was excellent - she sent lots of pictures and updates, and responded quickly to messages. When we first met Julia at our meet and greet, she asked lots of questions and took the time to really get to know Heidi and us. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to make Heidi comfortable in her home. She even gave us a tour of her property so that we’d have an idea of where Heidi would be hanging out. Knowing that our girl was in such good hands made it easy for us to relax on our trip, and we didn’t worry about her once. When we arrived to collect Heidi, it was clear that she had really bonded with Julia and they’d become the best of friends - Heidi didn’t want to leave at first and kept running back for more cuddles! Honestly, I can’t praise Julia enough. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful friend to care for Heidi when we go away. Thanks a million, Julia! Xx
Julia provided a wonderful calm environment for Merri. Lovely country walks and a paddock for zoomies. Julia had prepared so carefully and thoughtfully and I would very highly recommend.

Schedule
I am currently without a dog of my own and at home all week. I am available to help with dog walks, drop-in visits, doggy day care and boarding. I am also able to do all-day house sitting, so you can go out and about without worrying about leaving your dog at home. I will only care for one dog, or more if from the same family, in my own home so your dog will have all of my time and attention. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

When I am caring for dogs in their own home, I follow their usual routine closely and keep things calm and familiar. Whether at my home or yours, your dogs safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I also provide regular updates for your peace of mind.
A typical day
Your dog will have a lot of fun, games, cuddles, exercise and rest. I can tailor this in- line with your dogs breed and temperament. They will be well looked after and given all the attention and exercise they need. If staying at my home, I have a secure front garden, a fenced paddock and a small field for exercise. Nearby walks include Shobrooke Park and a local woods, if your dog is happy to travel by car.
