Schedule

Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to dedicate focused time and attention to walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time with dogs, so I make reliability, communication, and consistency a priority when caring for pets. I keep my schedule organized to ensure pets receive the attention, exercise, potty breaks, and care they need, and I’m committed to providing dependable updates and check-ins for owners while they’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, potty routines, walk preferences, and any specific instructions closely to help pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. During visits and walks, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and bathroom breaks. I also pay close attention to behavior and energy levels to make sure they’re comfortable and safe. I provide photo updates and communication so owners can feel reassured while they’re away from their pets. I’m comfortable caring for energetic dogs, puppies, and dogs that may need a little extra patience or structure during walks and visits.

Pets

A typical day

I enjoy keeping pets both mentally and physically engaged based on their personality and energy level. Activities can include structured walks, fetch, tug, playtime, enrichment games, basic leash work, outdoor time, and plenty of attention and interaction during visits. For higher-energy dogs, I like incorporating more active play and longer walks to help them burn energy in a healthy way. For calmer or more shy pets, I focus on making them feel comfortable through patience, consistency, and relaxed interaction. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, exercised, and comfortable while their owners are away.

To provide the best care possible, I like to learn a few key things about your pet ahead of time. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, potty habits, and any medications or special care instructions. Please let me know about any allergies, medical conditions, fears, or behaviors I should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know how your pet does with new people, other animals, and being alone, as well as what makes them most comfortable—favorite toys, treats, or routines. For dogs, leash manners and walking preferences are appreciated; for cats, preferred interaction and hiding spots are helpful to know. The more information you can share, the better I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and at ease while you’re away.
