I have taken care of pets since I was 15! Many people have relied on me for overnight care, drop ins, medications, potty training, and walking. I have also provided a healthy home to many different foster animals throughout the past 2 years. I currently have an adopted rescue dog and 4 rescue cats myself! I love making connections with each pet, and providing them with the best care possible!

I currently have 5 rescue pets in my home (1 dog and 4 cats!) I grew up with 2 large dogs as well. I love to play with each pet and make sure they get fresh air everyday. It’s important to talk positively, along with providing lots of love. In my home we do not crate our animals, but I have many experiences with crating and training dogs in other homes!

Opal was doing well before me and my daughter left Thursday around 5 pm. Julia dropped in around 9 as scheduled. Everything was fine. When Julia came back Friday morning she found blood on the floor. She promptly contacted me via text. I, however, didn't receive it a very timely manner. (I was in a semi-remote area) I had given Julia my daughter's number as I thought she got better reception, but not so much. As soon as I read her text, I texted a friend that works at my vet's office and she was able to advise Julia further as what to do. Julia was able to get Opal into the vet Saturday morning, with a few complications that quickly resolved themselves. The vet did bloodwork and checked Opal out. She was sent home with medicine to clear up her dia. Saturday evenings visit was a much improved Opal. She was even better Sunday morning. We cam home that evening and of course she was very happy to see us. There hasn't been any issues since then. Julia was just excellent in her handling of this medical situation. She provided clear messages and pictures of what she found. She worked with my friend and followed the advice given. I trust Julia 100% with Opal. They seem to have bonded in the two times Julia has sat for her. Opal does not take to just anybody either, so I couldn't be happier. I will only book with Julia when I need a sitter for my Opal.

Right from the initial meet-and-greet, she put me completely at ease, listened carefully to their complex feeding requirements, and asked great questions. She is incredibly professional, communicative, punctual, and responsible. She even handled an accidental alarm set-off and an unexpected lunchtime medication pill with absolute grace. I am incredibly comfortable calling her back and feel lucky to have found her!"

Highly, highly recommend Julia! She is so kind and took amazing care of our Weimaraner while we were out of town. Visits were done exactly as requested and she provided us with lots of photos while we were missing our boy.

Schedule
I am currently working part time, which leaves me a lot of time to spend with your pets! I am available at any time of day depending on my weekly schedule!

- I do not have a preference of dog size or breed! I love each and every pet. It is important for me to have knowledge on your pets interactions with new people, as I want to be prepared and provide the best care possible!
