We are SO happy we found Julia! We have two Vizslas that are 8 and 9 yo and we have never had a sitter other than family. We were too nervous to leave them with a “stranger”. We took a leap of faith and couldn’t be happier. Julia exceeded expectations. She took great care of our pups and communicated flawlessly. Julia is personable, friendly and reliable. Couldn’t ask for more. So much so that we have already requested to book her 4 more times! Highly recommend!

We’ve been using Rover now for, well since it was created, and have had mostly good caregivers for our dog. Over the years we’ve probably used 15 or so sitters. Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!

Charlee was well cared for and given the substitute attention he deserves. We will try to use Julia for our next trip.

Schedule

I am currently an online college student so I am home almost 24/7! I'd say there is 2 days out of the week that I'll be out for 2-3 hours but other than that I'll be home taking care of my kitties and your fur baby!

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in backyard at my house as well as the opportunity to walk at the park not too far from my house! I have two kitties living with me that are used to calm dogs so your baby will always have company if they want. My cats are known to be escape artists so I am very cautious about when, where, and how long doors and windows are open for.

Pets

A typical day

I’d make sure both dogs and cats get plenty of attention and playtime! For dogs, I’d take them on walks, play fetch, or do some tug-of-war to keep them active and happy. For cats, I’d spend time playing with toys like strings or laser pointers, give them cuddles if they want attention, and make sure they’re entertained and comfortable. I like to match their energy — whether that’s playing or just relaxing together.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Takes only 1 client at a time
Julia can host up to 1 pet per night
I’d want to know their routines and personalities — things like feeding schedules, any medications, allergies, or special needs, and how they do around new people or other animals. It’s also helpful to know their favorite toys or activities, any fears or triggers (like loud noises or vacuum cleaners), and what comforts them most so I can keep them happy and relaxed while you’re away.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
