Please let me know your dog's general temperament, activity needs, and behavior on a leash. It is also helpful to know if the dog is reactive, and if so to what. I would also like to know about any allergies/ dietary preferences for the dog, as I will try to bring treats that they can eat. If you can, please also provide me with the commands and or hand signals that they understand.
A typical day
I am always happy to bring treats/toys and play some fun engaging games with the pups! I love long walks through rock creek and am open to runs, dog parks, and trail walks if your dog would like it!

Pet care experience
I've been deeply involved with pet care since I was a child. From going to all of my family dogs' vet appointments, to training puppies, to pushing senior dogs in doggy strollers, I care immensely about the proper care and environment for dogs. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me with everything from occasionally stints as a horse, dog, and cat sitter, to administering medicine to senior dogs, to taking eager young dogs on long hikes or to the dog park.

Julia has been great with our energetic Frankie and has beem super reliable.
Julia was a wonderful caretaker for my cat Hester! She was prompt, attentive, and cheerful when meeting Hester and while I went over instructions. During the six days, Julia communicated daily that all was well. And when I arrived home, Hester was great and I could tell Julia had followed my instructions perfectly!
