I have been a foster with Close to Home Animal Rescue for over 10 years and have experienced a wide variety of dog and cat needs! I’m an alumna of The Ohio State University and University of Maryland. I have my own dog who is highly reactive, as well as two crazy fun kitties, and have lived with many other dogs, and have experienced an array of health and energy style differences, including blindness and torn ligaments! I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes and would be happy to help you out in any way I can, including basic commands and enrichment activities! I do have pet sitter’s insurance & am happy to provide verification :)

I am working with my dog on proper socialization and relaxation techniques, so I am unable to provide services for you in my home. However, I am happy to pal around with your pet wherever you prefer! If you have a special park or trail you like to walk, I’d be happy to go there. Or if you just want some toys tossed around in your backyard, I’m happy with that too! Designing new enrichment ideas is one of my favorite things! I also love playing with cats and other types of creatures too! Animal enrichment is very important to me — working their body and mind at the same time shows a ton of social and emotional benefits for our babies.

Julia has top notch communication! She sent all the cute photos of our babies while we were away which made us feel like they were in such good hands. She also went above and beyond cleaning up when one of our old man dogs had an accident while we were away. We are so grateful for the love and care she showed our pups!

Schedule
I am available during the week and the weekend, and am more than happy to help support and provide for the needs of your pet and family! I’m so excited to meet your furry family members ✨👏🏻 I currently work hybrid-remotely for UNCC (in office on Monday thru Wednesday) so I am very flexible to your needs, but I am currently only offering services on Thursday thru Sunday (unless your pet can be left alone for a full work day).
