For drop-in visits, I make sure they feel comfortable and trusted by me before anything else. Whether that’s giving them space until they’re ready or a big hug, I want them to enjoy the time they get with human interaction while they’re parents are gone! It’s really up to the owner what they want in the visit or walk and I’ll be happy to do what I can :)
Information Julia H. would like to know about your pet
PLEASE if your dog does not get along well with other dogs I may not be the best fit for you if you want your pup to stay at my house. My roommate has an english crème that lives with us. She’s around 65 pounds but adores dogs of all sizes and is very submissive. Just so that your dog and ours has the best time possible while you’re away Id appreciate if your dog would get along great with my roommates!
A typical day
I try to create fun days that will accommodate to the dog individually. For more high energy dogs taking them on walks, playing fetch, and doing enrichment puzzles to keep them busy would be my go to activities! For dogs who are more calm, usually I will spend time just lounging with them, taking time out to chill on the porch, or bring them to get pup cups or a doggy sundae!

Pet care experience
I previously worked as a kennel assistant for a doggy daycare and boarding facility since 2019 in my hometown known as Camp Bow Wow. I bathed, fed, administered medication, and managed play and directed dog behavior for up to 60 dogs at a time. On top of this, last year I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic to grow my knowledge in this field. At Kingdom Animal Hospital, I dealt with dog, cat, and other exotic patients during my time there. As an aspiring veterinarian, I am knowledgable in dog breeds and health. In terms of dog sitting, I have dog sat several different breeds and energy types since I was 10 years old. I am now currently a vet student at Louisiana state University.
Reviews

Julia is a rockstar. I’ve had other sitters who just do the bare minimum but Julia’s updates, photos, and the small things is why I’ll continue to use her. Rizz absolutely loves her.

Julia is a rock star sitter who gives above and beyond. She gives great reports and my dog is always smiling ear to ear in his pictures! Rizz will be excited to see Julia again soon.

Julia was great with my senior pittie girl!! Great communication and sent a lot of pics! 10/10 recommend! Thanks so much Julia!!

Julia is beyond amazing
