First I’d love to know a little about them, what’s their age, name, size. Let me know ahead of time if your dog has any unique requirements or traits, whether that be medication, special eating routines, or if they’re accident prone. I’d also love to know ahead of time a little about their personality, are they going to be anxious with someone new or are they a super excitable puppy. As well as if your dog is accident prone, whether urinating or vomiting, and if so don’t forget to let me know where you keep any preferred stain removers, deodorizers, and/or pee pads. I am attentive and a fast learner when it comes to unique needs and pets, so if there’s anything else reach out and I’d love to work for you and care for your pets.
A typical day
I love going for walks and exploring new areas and always value time spent playing and getting to know each pet. I’d love to have the opportunity to spend that time with your pets.

Pet care experience
I regularly have a very flexible schedule and would love to work for you and care for your pets. I have experience with house sitting, caring for my own elderly dogs, and my family has experience with working and caring for puppies through service dog agency's. I also, through 4h, have over a decades worth of experience working with a variety of animals. I’m a fast learner when it comes to care for smaller or more exotic pets and I’m great at following given care schedules.

Julia was amazing with our dog Archie. We haven't left him with someone for a couple of years. She is very professional, experienced, kind and knowledgable about dogs. Our dog got a hot spot a few days before our trip and had wear a sleeve on his leg to prevent licking. Julia handled it with confidence and ease. We can't wait to have her stay with Archie again!
Julia was a great sitter for our dog and cat over a long weekend. Would book again!
Julia watched our 4 1/2 year old rescue pup over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was super responsive, flexible, and easy to reach, and sent late afternoon photos and an update every day. She stayed in our house and followed our instructions, and she was not intimated by our dog's ocassional reactive behavior with other dogs. She kept him happy and well exercised. And the house was clean when we returned. I hope to use Julia for dog sitting again soon!
We are so grateful for Julia’s sensitive and thoughtful care for our home and our fur babies- a 5 year old dog and a 14 year old cat. She was very open to scheduling a meet and greet and asked thoughtful questions. Julia had a very calm demeanor with our pets, was able to meet all their accommodations, and was so respectful of our home. We came home to washed linens and a remade bed! It was nice to know our pets were in such caring and safe hands. We would highly recommend Julia!
