Do they have issues guarding their food and/or crate? Have they had any incidents with other dogs? Are they more of a lounger or a player? Are they potty trained? How much do they eat & when? Are they up to date on all boosters and rabies? Anything else you'd like to share about your pooch.
A typical day
I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own. In my house we do a lot of lounging, playing at the park and playing inside. You are welcome to bring their favorite toy during their stay. Your dog should be crate trained as he/she will likely sleep in their crate at night (mainly for safety purposes until they are comfortable with a new location). If they are comfortable and relaxed, they can sleep on a doggy bed if you wish or a favorite blanket. We can discuss your needs. I will give your dog treats if you are okay with it. Please bring food they are used to eating so there isn't a drastic change for their little tummy. I don't have a problem giving them a bath if they end up getting dirty during play time. I'll send you plenty of pictures while your pup is staying with me so you are comfortable leaving them. I will only watch one Rover dog at a time to make the client more comfortable their dog is getting my full attention. You don't have to worry about other unknown dogs being present during your pups stay. Thanks for visiting!

I have been a dog lover all my life. Growing up with dogs in the house was just an extension of our family. I currently have 1 rescue dog who thinks she runs the house and likes to make sure she protects her baby (my daughter). My pup know basic tricks, well behaved, potty trained, gets along great with others once there is a warm up moment. Of course she love treats and getting to show off their tricks to get the treats. I left my teaching career to stay at home and begin starting an online business and my husband is an IT director. We love to go to sporting events, re-do furniture and DIY projects together, traveling and spending time with our pups and daughter! Now that I stay at home, I have the availability to give your pup more attention, play time and potty breaks! I will treat you dog as my own; they will get snuggles and play time just like mine. I will give them treats (if approved) when I give them to my own dogs. I will take them out for play time and we usually go out to potty every 3-4 hours when I'm home. I'm currently open to small dogs just because we have a small dog in a small space. Our property is unfenced currently and our dog is trained to go potty and return but with dogs I'm sitting we will leash and walk the dog and remain outside at all times. Your dog can sleep in a crate or in the same bed as ours. Our dog sleeps on the bed with our daughter and if you have a preferred bed for your fur baby you'd like to bring, they are welcome to sleep there as well. Can't wait to meet you and your pooch!

This was my first time using the Rover service app, and to be honest I was a bit apprehensive leaving our puppy dog with a stranger. Our Bella has in the past when boarded been very nervous and skittish when we have brought her home and we really did not want to do that again. First the app was very easy to work through and it gave me many options of caregivers in close proximity to my house. The wife and I decided on Julia and could not have made a better choice. Julia was very quick to respond and was helpful to this first time user. She and her sweet family watched over our dog and sent us many pictures and notes letting us know how Bella was doing and that she was having a good time. I would absolutely recommend Julia as about next pet sitter because we will defiantly be calling her again.

Thanks Julia! My pup Bruno had a really fun time. I received pictures from Julia of how Bruno’s day went, and he had a lot of fun. I’m glad I booked Julia for Bruno’s daycare because I know that I can have a peace of mind while I am at work. She made sure my pup ate lunch and had his daily walks. I will definitely book again!
