Julia can care for
Availability
As a college student currently on break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to dedicate to pet care. I am available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I can easily adapt my routine to meet a pet’s specific needs. Having cared for my own dog for years and regularly dog-sat for family friends, I understand the importance of providing consistent attention, exercise, and care to help pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I think every dog is different, so I like to adjust my care based on their personality and needs. I’m a very active person and love going on walks, hikes, and playing with energetic dogs, but I also enjoy relaxing with senior or shy dogs who prefer a slower pace. Whether a dog wants to be outside exploring or curled up on the couch for some company, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re in my care.
Information Julia H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, and behavioral quirks. It’s also helpful to know their daily routine, favorite activities, and how they interact with other people or animals. Every pet is different, and having this information helps me keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Humans come with instruction manuals called resumes; pets unfortunately do not.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hikes or long walks to keep them active and engaged. I also enjoy playing fetch, going for runs, and spending quality time outdoors with them. I always try to match activities to each pet’s energy level and personality because, much like humans, some are marathon runners and some consider moving from the couch to the food bowl a major athletic achievement.

Absolute animal lover of all sizes
Pet care experience
I grew up with a dog and have spent years caring for and looking after it, which taught me the responsibility, patience, and attention that pets need, and I have also regularly dog-sat for family friends, giving me experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities.
Reviews

Julia did a great job checking in on our cat while we were away! She was responsive and always made sure to send pictures. I would definitely recommend her and rebook with her again!
