Hey Friends! My name is Julia Guy. I bring 17 years of hands‑on animal care experience from the equine industry, pet care centers, and veterinary support roles. I’ve worked as a wrangler, equine caretaker, pet care technician, and veterinary technician, which has given me extensive experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m confident with energetic dogs, seniors, anxious pets, and animals needing structured routines or extra patience. My approach is calm, attentive, and safety‑focused, and I always take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality. Your animals will receive reliable, compassionate care every visit.

As a resident of Northern Indiana, I have access to many free public parks and walking trails that offer plenty of exercise and entertainment. In my home, pets have a safe, structured environment with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs for companionship if they love meeting new friends. I follow each pet’s routine closely, provide calm, attentive handling, and ensure they feel secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain consistency with feeding, exercise, and training preferences, and keep communication open so owners always know how their pet is doing.

Schedule
I currently work part‑time as a veterinarian, which gives me plenty of availability for walks, drop‑ins, and consistent daily care. I prioritize each pet’s schedule and ensure they receive reliable attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the week.

- It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any behavioral quirks. I also like to know how they react to new people, other dogs, and different environments. Please share any medical needs, allergies, or medications, along with preferred training cues. The more I know in advance, the safer and smoother their care will be. Health and Safety are Important!! I am licensed and professionally trained to handle aggression cases as well.
