Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a long-time pet owner from Jacksonville, Florida. I owned a dog for several years but when I moved to Virginia, the dog stayed at home with my parents in Florida. I miss spending time with animals and look forward to dog walking and pet sitting through Rover! I have experience with dogs and cats. I have volunteered at Humane Societies since high school and feel very comfortable with all kinds of pets. I've also pet sit multiple dogs for up to 2 weeks at a time and am confident in my abilities to take good care of animals for extended periods of times. Julia walked my two dogs all summer while I was working. From the beginning, Julia took the time to make sure she understood my (very detailed!) preferences, always made sure she got things right, and was accommodating for schedule changes and when we moved. Julia was such a big help and I could entrust her with walking my two fur-babies. She is great!
Julia has taken care of our 9 year old lab since we brought her home. She has walked, bathed and fed Riley since she was a puppy. She has also been responsible for taking care of her while we have been away from home. I completely trust Julia. She is a Girl Scout Gold Award (similar to a Boy Scout's Eagle Scout) recipient as well as a top notch graduate from Georgia Tech. She truly loves animals, will show them abundant love and attention, and knows how to handle an emergency situation (hopefully not). She is very physically active and will make sure your baby gets the love, attention and physical exercise to thrive.
Colleen G. Julia has dog sat for me since 2017 and she’s absolutely wonderful! Mac and cheese (my two Dalmatians) love her to pieces. She’s kind, respectful, great with animals, and I highly recommend her for all your dog walking needs!

Schedule
Pet care is a part time activity that I can do outside of my working hours. I work remotely and have a flexibility schedule that allows me to fit in walks and care taking.
