I’m a full-time teacher and have summers off, which gives me a flexible schedule and the opportunity to take on more pet care responsibilities during that time. While I use some of the summer to travel and spend time with family, I also believe it’s important to keep working—and there’s no better way than by spending time with animals! Pet care fits naturally into my active lifestyle. I love getting outside, so dropping in for visits or taking your dog for a walk is just as rewarding for me as it is for your pet. My open summer schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and fully present while caring for your pets.

It’s important for me to know each pet’s routine, temperament, and any special needs ahead of time. I like to ask about their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite toys or activities, and how they usually behave around new people or other animals. It’s also really helpful to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications, and how they typically respond to things like loud noises or being left alone. The more I know, the better I can care for them just like you would!

When I watch pets, I make sure they have a fun and engaging time! I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch, or exploring a nearby park if they enjoy being outside. For indoor pets, I play with their favorite toys, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I also enjoy spending quiet time with cats, playing with teaser toys, or giving them cozy cuddle time if they’re into that. My goal is to keep each pet happy, active, and cared for in a way that fits their personality!

I have a history of household pets which encourages me to continue working with animals! As a full-time teacher, I’m strong in following instructions and providing clear and accurate support for your pet so you can relax while away. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes—from small breeds to large, high-energy mixes like my college coach’s Great Dane-Mastiff dogs. I’m confident handling strong, powerful pups as well as more delicate or senior dogs who may need extra patience and care. My background has given me experience with everything from daily walks and feeding schedules to helping reinforce training routines and managing unique pet personalities. I’m also a strong communicator—I keep owners updated regularly with messages, photos, and anything else that offers peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priority, and I take pride in being someone both you and your pets can trust.
