I am a student, so when I’m not at school I’m always with dogs. I love to spend as much time as I can in nature and always take my own dogs with me, and make sure they get several walks a day. At home I have several dog beds and monitor them throughout the day.

I have dog beds as well as crates if needed. The house is pretty dog proof with nothing easily accessible for them to get into, and a dog gate leading to the upstairs which is where bedrooms are. I also have a large fenced in yard with bark for the dogs to run around in and lots of toys to play with.

A typical day
I will take the dogs on walks throughout the day, as well as play with them at home with a variety of toys and enriching activities. If agreed upon I would also be happy to take them on bigger outings like to the beach or on hikes. There will also be lots of cuddle time.

I have been around and loved dogs all my life. For as long as I can remember I’ve been the first to help out walking and taking care of dogs and when I was 7 I got my first dog that became my most prized possession. More recently I have increased my amount of dog care, including adopting 2 rescue dogs in the last 3 years. They have been quite the project as they both came from traumatized pasts and needed a lot of redirection and love. This past year I have also been volunteering at least once a week at the Santa Cruz SPCA, working with dogs of all temperament.
Reviews
Julia stopped by spontaneously to check in on my dogs during a last minute train ride in the redwoods. Super responsive and flexible, she was able to stay a bit longer on short notice and right away sent me a photo of my dogs. She has a husky so she’s comfortable with high energy handling! One of my pups is timid and when she sent the photo I could tell my dog was happy and safe. I would definitely book again!
Julia was incredible! She watched our 2 Goldendoodles for about 5 nights and stay at our apartment. She sent us updates daily, multiple times a day, which put us at ease while we were on vacation. She asked a ton of questions to ensure she had everything right before we left and we even came back to a spotless apartment. I can not recommend Julia enough! She’s thoughtful, knowledgeable, a great communicator, and is amazin with care!
Julia is great! I was grateful to have her watch after my cat tuna while I was traveling— I would definitely use her again!
This is the second trip we’ve hired Julia for and she was amazing with our kitties yet again! We will definitely use her in the future and highly recommend her!
