I have always been a dog person and grew up with a big dog in the house, so being around dogs feels completely natural to me. My sister’s dog Stella is in most of my photos because I take care of her all the time, including overnight. She is a high energy, high anxiety girl who needs a lot of attention, long walks, play, and someone who can help her settle when she starts to spiral. I am used to that level of care and honestly love it. I live a very active lifestyle with hiking, running, and gym days, so getting outside and keeping a dog moving fits right in with how I already spend my time. I am upbeat, reliable, and really enjoy being around dogs with big personalities. I cannot wait to hear from you and meet your dog.

I am trusted by several family friends to care for their pets on a regular basis, and I have experience with a wide range of needs. I have stayed overnight with an elderly cat who needed extra attention, I have watched multiple dogs at once, and I was even hired as a dog walker when a family friend broke her ankle and couldn’t manage walks herself. I genuinely love being around animals and always care for them as if they were my own. When I am in a client’s home, I am respectful of their space and routines, whether I am doing a drop in visit, letting a dog out, or spending a little extra time to make sure everything feels calm and settled. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.

Julia has been an excellent pet sitter for our elderly cat. Julia is willing to stay at our place as the cat is now so old, she freaks out when we leave. But with Julia, she gets lots of attention and play. A real win is that Julia can pet our cat who comes back for more! Our cat is skittish and will play string with others, but has let only 4-5 people pet her repeatedly in her whole life. It's am amazing sign of their bond. We are very grateful!
Julia is a wonderful caregiver and animal lover that I have known for over 15 years. She is detail oriented and always takes care whenever furry friends are nearby! On many occasions she has walked, fed and even taken our family dog to the vet when we were out of town and Cricket (our moyenne poodle) had an ear infection. She took care of it and made sure Cricket had everything she needed! Would always recommend Julia.
Julia has been incredibly helpful with my affable poodle. She has taken her on daily walks while I was too ill to do so myself, even taking her on hikes well. When my pup fell ill during one of my holidays, Julia cheerfully borough zCricket into the animal hospital, purchased her meds, administer said meds and took care of my pup until I returned. I am so grateful that she is willing and available to help out with my dog-related needed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER and hope you treat her well. She is a GEM!

Schedule
I was recently laid off and am using this time to focus on finding my next full time career role, so I currently have a lot of flexibility during the week for walks and drop in visits. Once I am back in a full time position, I plan to continue dog walking as a side gig because I genuinely enjoy it. I am available Monday through Friday, and while I am mostly unavailable on weekends, I can occasionally take a weekend booking if the timing works. I am excited to connect and help care for your dog.
