I will love your pup like my own
Lifelong animal lover with a serious soft spot for dogs. I have a lifetime of assorted animal ownership (I had 17 pets at one point as a child), and over a decade of experience with sick, injured and traumatized dogs as a volunteer and foster parent for vet clinics and rescues. I have cared for dogs w/ a wide range of disciplinary and health issues and am comfortable with all personalities and medical issues, including those with high anxiety and dogs with severe medical issues, even seizures, diabetes and blindness. I have never met a dog I couldn't win over, and because of my years fostering I have all kinds of tricks to helping dogs settle in, including getting them to eat when they are homesick or missing their people. We have a big, quiet, grassy yard and 2 small dogs that are used to lots of new friends. We can accommodate shy and energetic dogs, our senior pups are some of our favorite customers, but overall we are a social environment with lots of play and interaction. I promise to love and care for your babies like they are part of the family, because I know that they are!

Korben always has such a great time visiting Julia and he's always so excited when he arrives.
I am so thankful that we discovered Julia. Cagney, my terrier type pup, is 17 years old. He doesn't see well, is pretty deaf, and somewhat skittish. He is also a very picky eater. Julia kept Cagney for 18 days while I was in Japan. I was very nervous as the only person who had ever kept him prior was his previous owner - at the last moment she had a situation that prevented her from taking care of him. Thus I discovered Rover and could not be happier. Julia was terrific about providing updates and photos. I don't think I could have found a more compassionate individual to take care of my senior dog. She was patient and affectionate to Cagney. Julia's house is incredibly clean, she has a wonderful backyard that is perfect for the pups. I was happy there were no steps as it made it easy for an old dog to exit and enter. Thank you Julia, I hope to bring the little old man Cagney back one day!
Julia was amazing, she took really good care of my little corgi, he came back happy. I would definitely be looking forward to book with her again :)
Julia always takes great care of our girls when they are with her.
It's such a shame we live on the other side of the valley now cause Korben really loves visiting and staying with Julia.

Schedule
I work during the week but have a flexible schedule most days and often work from home. I spend as much time outside as possible and have plenty of time to play, but also have a dog run and two dog doors so the dogs can still enjoy the outdoors if I’m not around.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and several crate sizes if crates are preferred at night or when I’m out. I have two dogs of my own to provide some company and a big yard, so I can accommodate most energy levels.

Supervised playtime in the yard, a chance to socialize, regular games of fetch, basic obedience training (if requested), visits to the dog park (if available), etc.
