Staying with us means you will get the best of both worlds. While I bring a calm and relaxing energy, my husband (Tiago) is fired up and ready to run, play, and howl at the moon! Together we provide a fun environment and a spa like retreat. My 12 year old son brings the bubble machine. We do have a toddler, baby friendly pups are very welcome to stay with us as we transition into every stage of this exciting new life! Sunny days are the best to play and explore outdoors. A game a fetch, laying on the hammock or sunbathing on the comfy swing, when the sun is out so are we! Chilly nights are perfect to dance around the bonfire. Hanging with friends and telling fireside stories are the best. Rainy evenings means movie time in the entertainment room. Beethoven? Homeward Bound? 101 Dalmatians? All the classics are in theaters now! Once outside play and exploring comes to an end, our guests come inside to get cleaned, brushed, massaged, and fine dining. We tailor our furry friends stay according to their liking. If you are not the kibble type, not a problem. Tiago comes from a family of chefs and his culinary expertise is phenomenal! Staying with us means the whole family is on vacation! Working part-time from home gives me plenty of time to play and care for your pets. I am available daily from 8am and weekends upon request. I’ve taken care of animals of every kind since I was 15. Co-workers, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and even train their pets. I have an fenced backyard and a 15 year old calm and friendly shih tzu to keep your pet company. She is housebroken indoors and outdoors. She is sweet, quiet, loving, highly trained to walk with me unleashed and only barks on command. We have added another shih tzu to the family, Stella! She has enough energy to run around with the energetic pups and an old soul to cuddle too. Already house broken and trained, but we are still working on the barking. July 2025, a cat adopted us! After one of our pup guests alerted me to meows near our garage, we took him in hoping we can find his original owner. We even tried releasing him to see if he will find his way home. Well, he did..right back to us! Since then, we named him Mini and gave him all the care he needed. He is super friendly with other cats and dogs. We actually think he was a dog in his past life. Our little Mini turned out to be a big Maine Coon mix that now is larger than our shih tzus. His heart is just as big! I have also trained a few other dogs to do the same and recently began training a pitbull in Portugal during vacation as well as giving the owner some tips before returning. I have also trained a cockatiel to come, follow me, perch, sing, and play peek-a-boo. I love animals and have a great amount of patience and care for them.

My little Muffin had a blast. I booked with Julhiffer again and while I was on vacation she always kept me updated with the cutest videos and pics of my dog having a ball. She creates such a warm and animal friendly atmosphere! She is amazing ! Thank you again!
Kobi seemed to have a great time with this very loving and caring family. I think he missed them as soon as we returned home after the pickup. Great family! We will definitely have Julhiffer sit Kobi again soon.

Julhiffer and her family were truly amazing and PATIENT with our puppies! They treated them like family and made us so comfortable with leaving them in their care! She sent daily updates and pictures to assure their safety! Our babies are extremely active but loving. I will use them again in the future! Thank you ❤️💙💕💙🐶
Julhiffer and her family were absolutely amazing. They are so sweet and welcoming. Julhiffer sent so many pictures and updates on my Xoe and took great care of her while I was away. Schedule
I currently work from home and am able to keep your fur babies company all day. I do take my son to therapy every day at 4pm but I am home by 5pm. My husband is home by the time I return and is always excited to play with the pups outside! Once everyone is back home, dinner is served and a quiet evening awaits.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard and a 2 shih tzus to keep your baby company. Although we prefer not to, we can crate your pup or fence them if you prefer. I work from home and so I can keep them company all day!
Pets
A typical day
I love to play with toys and treats and use playtime for training. Exploring the neighborhood, local park, even the dog park for new smells and friends as well as play dates with my family's dogs. When I drop off my son to therapy, I like to bring the pups with me for a nice car ride (we have doggy seat belts).
