Lifelong experience with animals
It all started with rabbits when I was a 4 year old. My dad bred them and we had well over 60 at one point. I had a pair of baby ducks when I was 8 years old. Then along came my budgie when I was 10. I have a lifelong experience of caring for many different types of pets. In the past I have had rabbits, ducks, a budgie, cockatiels, finches, rats, and aquariums. I took riding lessons as a teen and worked on the horse farm to pay for my lessons. I also have experience with exotic animals as I worked for a short time in a zoo. I have owned 5 dogs. A Husky (who lived to 15), an Australian Shepherd (who passed at age 12 from cancer), a sports mix - Border Collie/Staff/Russel (who passed at 14.5 from CHF), another Australian Shepherd (who passed at 11 from cancer), and I currently have a male Australian Shepherd.

I have a pup who loves other dogs (he would have to come with me for overnight visits). He is playful and affectionate. I have 20 acres of woods to walk in (plus access to my neighbour's trails) and live on a small lake if your dog enjoys swimming. I am very knowledgeable in the care and training of animals, especially dogs and will be taking a first aide course when one comes available. I am very diligent about keeping dogs away from the road and they are always on a leash or longline.

Judy looked after our two cats at the last minute for 10 days while we were overseas. She kept us updated daily with adorable photographs and blurbs about how they were doing. We arrived home to happy healthy cats who got so much love in our absence. I would book Judy again for our babies in a heartbeat! Thank you for going above and beyond Judy!
Judy did some catsitting for us and our cat loved her. Judy took the time to sit with our cat and spend time with her, she wasn’t just running in and out doing the basics. Judy is also a long time dog owner and has lived with many different breeds (and temperaments) - she has not yet met a dog she couldn’t charm. I have known Judy for over 7 years and would feel very comfortable leaving my pet with her and having her enter my home as well, I know my pet would be cared for like she was one of her own.
I have no hesitation in recommending Judy as a pet sitter. She is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to dog health and training. On top of that, she is caring, reliable, trustworthy and responsible. Am I 💯 confident your furry friend would be in the best possible hands with Judy. I don’t think she’s ever met a dog she didn’t care for, or bond with.

Programa
I work part time throughout the winter and have a tourism business during the summer. My work schedule is generally 4-6 hour days with a few off during the week. Your pet's care would fit in with my own pet's care. My dog is young and energetic and loves to play with other dogs. We hike most days in the woods surrounding the house.
