I recently wrapped up a 21-year career in surgery and am now fully in my dogs-and-cats-over-humans era. Pet care fits seamlessly into my life right now: it’s what I’m focused on and genuinely love! I’d be delighted to care for your pet so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

I provide a single-family, two-story home in a quiet, safe, and cute neighborhood. There are just three steps up to the front door. There's a deck and one step down to the huge grassy yard. There’s plenty of space for lounging, exercising, and playing. We are a smoke, pet, and child-free home. In your home, I’m highly detail-oriented and follow your instructions closely. I ask thoughtful questions upfront so I can care for your pet exactly the way you do, so you can relax and truly enjoy your time away. I also respect your space and privacy, keeping communication intentional and simple while sharing meaningful updates and photos so you know your pet is well cared for and content.

Information Judy D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I can account for. Also, up to date vet information is a must when I board your dog. I believe in preparation and planning so I can be calm and effective in case of any emergency.
A typical day
If your dog is a snuggler, that will most certainly be on the agenda. Outside of that, I like to engage with dogs and stimulate them according to their needs. Besides playing fetch or running around in the huge yard, we’ll check out the new smells in my neighborhood and explore the park near my house.

Pet care experience
Hey there, I’m Judy, quite possibly your pet’s new favorite human. 😊 Since 2003, I’ve been caring for dogs and cats and building trusted relationships with pets (and their people!). I am excited to connect with local pet families who want more than just a walk or boarding; they want real, loving care. I grew up with two big dogs in the home at all times. I have since cared for pups and cats of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and quirks. I’m known as “Auntie Judy” to friends and clients alike. I fully embrace that title! I’ve worked with everything from high-energy herders to shy rescues and senior dogs needing extra TLC. Fun fact: I spent 8 years as a pet psychic, deepening my understanding of animals' emotions, behaviors, and needs. This intuitive connection helps me provide even more attentive, compassionate care, ensuring your furry companions feel truly understood and cared for. If you’re looking for someone who brings warmth, reliability, and a whole lot of love, you just found her. 🐾

Reviews
Judy is the person I trust with my dog without hesitation, and I rest easy knowing he's in her hands. I've seen her light up at the sight of many dogs and cats, just from pictures, and quickly fall in love with them as if they were her own when she meets them. Her love for animals comes through in how she cares for them and in her attention to detail to ensure their special needs are met. She is always on time, follows instructions to a T, plays with my dog, and gets him the exercise he needs. She is considerate of other dogs before making introductions. She communicates proactively with updates, photos, and check-ins. I've used her for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and every time has been great! I especially appreciate how she talks to my dog, greets him when she comes to get him, and says bye when she leaves. She'll often give him a hug before she goes. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like family — not just a responsibility — Judy is that person. I'd trust her with any animal, without hesitation.
Judy, or now Aunt Judy has been walking my dog, Loki for almost 9 months. She has followed a Google doc that I wrote for her well before she looked out for Loki to the tea to this very day. For example, just last week she made sure he had water and without her checking it like I mentioned in this Google doc, he would not have had water until I got home that day. She remains detail oriented, communicative, and flexible. All the way down to the small details, like remembering to switch out his leash when it rains to communicating well in advanced when she is unable to watch Loki due to personal travel or other needs, Judy is by far the most thorough dog walker and trustworthy person I could ever imagine to look after my own four legged dog baby. On top of that, she has also looked after my cat when I needed to travel and I’ve been gone for several days Judy all around is a fantastic dog walker, cat sitter, pet Aunt you could ever ask for. 100/10 would absolutely recommend.
