I have owned dogs during the last 30 years and have cared daily for my daughter's dogs for the past year but she is now working from home so I have bandwidth to help others with their dog care.

Schedule
I am now retired so have ample time to care for a pet and enjoy nice walks by the natural surroundings on the banks of the Rideau River.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are welcome in my home and on sofas and beds which have blankets on them for comfort. While my yard is unfenced, I border the rideau river so nature is just outside my door for pleasant riverside walks.
A typical day
I keep a box of dog toys and safe bones to chew at the ready for fun if the dog shows interest in any of these items.
