I am a teacher, so I have summers and holiday breaks off to care for pets. During the school year, I am available in the mid-afternoon and evenings. I am available on the weekends year-round.

I understand that all pets, dogs and cats, have different routines and needs. I currently have a cat that is required to be on a special diet. I have also had experience with administering medication, including injections to a senior cat. I understand differentiating the needs of pets. A typical day
I love to play fetch with my dogs. They enjoy walks in the neighborhood and stopping to smell everything! During my shifts at the pet adoption center and with my own cats, I play with a variety of cat toys to help with their energy. It is rewarding to see cats/kittens that were scared start to trust you and come out of their shell to play.

Pet care experience
I have had pets in my life since I was a teenager. I currently have 2 dogs, Labrador Retriever and an Australian Shepard, 3 indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats. I have experience caring for pets from a young age to senior. I volunteer with a cat rescue, caring for cats and kittens that are looking for their furever home.

Judy was fantastic, as always, for our kitties! They might be shy and hide, but she hangs out and keeps them company. Which is great, because our little girl is a sociable kitty, she just takes a bit to get used to new people! It's great knowing she's there to watch them and I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather have with them. I can't recommend her enough!
Judith was absolutely great taking care of both of our kitties, even though they tend to be rather shy and hide from strangers. She followed their normal routine and did everything we asked of her. Staying the entire time, even though the kitties barely came out to say hello to her. That was the most important part for us, since our kitties are social, they just take time to warm up to people, and I know they will warm up to her eventually, since we will absolutely be using her again for our future trips!
This was our very first time traveling as a whole family, and also the first time leaving our dogs home alone. We were very anxious, as our dogs are sensitive, a bit hard to handle, and not used to being away from us. Judith was truly a blessing. From the very beginning, she showed incredible patience and care. She didn’t just walk the dogs — she made a genuine effort every single day to help them adjust emotionally. She paid close attention to their eating habits, showed real concern when they weren’t eating well, and always kept us informed. She worked hard to earn their trust. Through her consistent, gentle approach and kind presence, we could see real progress — our dogs gradually opened up to her. Judith went above and beyond what we expected from a dog walker. She didn’t just meet their basic needs; she treated them with the love and empathy of someone who truly understands animals. We are so grateful for her dedication and heart. I would highly recommend Judith to anyone looking for someone responsible, patient, and genuinely compassionate.
I have known Judi for over 40 years and she has had pets, both dogs and cats, during most of that time. She takes really good care of her pets. How many people do you know that cook real food (i.e. chicken, rice and veggies) for their dogs every week? I tried that once for my two dogs and lasted about two weeks before giving up and going back to dry food. I would trust her with any pet.
