I'm currently a stay at home mother to 3 kids (10, 5, and 1), plus we have 2 dogs ourselves ( Frenchie & Dobie). My girls very good with other dogs of all sizes. I'm home all day, and spend a lot of time outside gardening while the dogs and kids play. I leave the back door open so the dogs can come in and out as they please all day, unless it's raining or too hot/cold. In that case we're all inside out of the rain, or in the A/C or heat! I'm available for daycare M-F and overnight stays every night of the week. Plus, there is an XL capacity washer and dryer so I offer dog bed, clothes, and toy washing (free and clear products only) in addition to doggy bath (sensitive skin oatmeal soaps). I feel certain your pup will feel right at home here with us!

The house is on a 3/4 of an acre lot with half of it securely fenced for the dogs and kids. So while the dogs, kids, and I spend the vast majority in the fenced area for off-leash playtime, we can go for stroller/ dog walks on the paved trail over to Stanley Middle School and back. We allow the dogs to sleep wherever they are comfortable - bedroom, couch, kitchen - as long as it's inside. I can personalize your pups stay however needed so they feel comfortable and safe. I love hosting and have enjoyed the pleasure to sit a large variety of dogs (Greyhound, Jindo, Chihuahua, Bichon, Rottie, Pitt, Dachshund, Frenchie, Pointer, Border Collie, Boxer, Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, Bernese Mnt Dog, Cane Corso, Corgi, Pomeranian, Lhasa Apso, Papillon, and others). Please feel free to stop in and see if your pup finds us a good fit as well.

Please let me know any details that might help me tailor your dog's experience so they feel safe and comfortable with our family from the first moment. Be aware that my young children and personal dogs will also be supervised by me as well during all bookings, so your pup should be good with young kids and dogs. Per Rover, "Sitters on Rover are covered by the Rover Guarantee; however, this does not extend to other family members or individuals in the home."
A typical day
Fetch, tug of war, exploring the yard, engaging with my dogs and the wildlife (there are turkeys, deer, squirrels, and a multitude of birds in the yard each day), walk, hide and treat (game my dogs love looking for treats I've hidden), gardening, naps outside or on the couch, etc

I'm a lifelong dog owner and lover, having always lived with a dog since birth. I have owned and cared for dogs of all sizes, ranging from 140 lbs down to 11 lbs. I've taken care of dogs through all stages of life, puppy to senior. I've administered all kinds of pup medications, and dealt with food allergies, surgery recovery, giardia, demodectic mange, etc. I've been dog sitting for my friends for the past 15+ years, and have shifted to sitting as a business this past year to help earn some money to stay home longer with my young kids.
