About this sitter: I am a total dog lover, well-educated, own my own home and am very athletic and fit. Your pet will enjoy not only a comfortable home while you are away, but also have the fun of walks, hikes (if desired!) and tons of affection! If you would prefer to have your dog stay in his/her own environment, I would be happy to discuss a stay at your home. I have great references and you would enjoy the peace of mind of having your pup in their own environment with a well-qualified, reliable "surrogate mom"!

I would like to know a dog's temperment, how they behave around people and around other animals and what special traits they have that I should be aware of. I don't really have breed preferences, as long as the dog is amiable and is housebroken :)
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Around the area, to dog parks if desired, as well as to the many open areas near my home. I'm quite active and outdoorsy, so having your dog along with me would be fun...dayhiking or just a neighborhood stroll. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog may sleep in my bedroom and if he/she has his own bed that he'd like to bring along...great! Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home, so that gives me the ability and flexibility to spend whatever time is needed. I love having dogs around me, it would actually be a big bonus for me!

I own my own home in a beautiful community in Indio.My backyard is fully enclosed. I have had dogs all my life...every breed, from small terriers to greyhounds! I work from home, therefore am able to give my full attention and presence to my "guests". I live with Callie, my little mini Labradoodle...no small children, no cats...just us! I would love to care for your pet.

Our dog Buddy stayed with Judy for about a week and he was so happy. He normally is anxious about going to a kennel so we thought we would try and have him stay in someone's house and I am so glad we did.
