Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes through my volunteer work at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, where I regularly walked and worked with large dogs. I received dog safety training and learned how to recognize and de-escalate stressful situations to help keep both pets and people safe. I'm comfortable handling strong or energetic dogs and use proper leash-handling techniques to ensure walks are safe and enjoyable. Through both my volunteer experience and completing my Eagle Scout service project at the animal shelter, I have spent significant time working in environments with dogs present and understand how to remain calm, attentive, and respectful of each animal's needs. When caring for pets, I treat them as if they were my own by following their routines, respecting their boundaries, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
