Safety, trust & environment

Training my own dog since she was a puppy, I have learnt good ways to make sure the dog feels safe and secure. When walking, unless otherwise instructed, I will use a 1.5m leash (I also have a much longer one if required). Alternatively, if opted in for (based on proof of good recall from the owner) I am happy to take the dog off leash in enclosed areas. If extensive exercise is required for dogs with less reliable recall, I can run along side or take the dog for a longer walk.

Information Jude B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there are any specific details I need to know about your dog, whether it has special needs or is older and requires specific attention. Also, if your dog is senior and prefers a slower walk, I am happy to facilitate. Finally, if there are any traits about your dog that I may experience on a walk that could put me, your dog or others in danger please let me know. Please note, if you require me to travel a fair distance, I may ask for extra to cover travel costs.

A typical day

I love to get the dog engaging both mentally and physically, be it with a puzzle for the dog, or by going on a walk. Being young and athletic, I also enjoy going for runs and often go running with my own dog in the park. Letting the dog sniff for new smells or chase a ball, I will be able to tire your dog out.

Pet care experience

I’m a University student with a lot of free time available and a love of dogs. I’ve grown up around animals and have formed good relationships with my own, family and friends pets and enjoy talking them on walks and playing with them. I’ve got good experience with looking after larger dogs which require more exercise, as well as doing training with less-obedient dogs. I trained my own dog, a chocolate labrador, and frequently look after her alone. I have 4 years of experience in walking and caring for dogs, and promise to enjoy them just as much as your pet - Giving them plenty of exercise, pets and play and tending to your specific requirement.

Jude was great with our dog, bella. He took time to meet her and us first, find out about where to walk her and about any issues. During the week he was walking her, he built up a relationship with her, as well as giving her lots of time to run around off leash. He also provided us with daily updates, which were great. Hope Jude will be free again in the future to walk bella!

Our lab x springer, Lola LOVES Jude. He’s been fantastic with drop in visits and Lola is content when we get home. Definitely recommend!

Jude is incredibly reliable and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his own chocolate Labrador. He is confident, kind and full of energy. Entirely trustworthy and will have no trouble endearing himself to your pet. Highly recommend.

Jude was pivotal in our decision to get a Labrador puppy and he has walked, carried, fed, bathed and cared for her on a daily basis ever since. He is the one she misses or looks out for the most and Jude repays that with kindness, fun, cuddles and chats, all with the utmost care for her well-being. He’s happy to walk her in the cold and rain and even wash off the mud afterwards. She’s a big, powerful dog and quite strong-willed but Jude is more than able to handle her on and off the lead or at play. He has a clear affinity with dogs and can be fully relied upon and trusted with a family pet.
