I just love animals!
I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, growing up with three cats and two dogs in Colombia and being a foster home for pets in need while we found them a loving family. Since moving to the U.S. three years ago, I’ve missed having pets around so much!! My goal is to make your dog or cat feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure, and I’ll treat yours with the same love and care I would my own. <3

Our pup just completed his second stay with Juanita and had a fabulous time. She shared many updates of him on walks and lounging on every soft surface in the house. He came home happy and healthy. We are so grateful for the care Juanita provides him while we are away and will continue to use her for our pet sitting in the future.
Our pup loves Jaunita. She does a great job keeping him happy and she’s a great communicator.
First time booking Juanita and she was great ! I left my dog with her for 5 days. She was a reliable and quick communicator and provided daily updates, photos and videos. I could tell she really enjoyed caring for Deli and was sad to see her go. Well recommended !

Juanita was a fabulous pet sitter for our pup! A few days before we were set to leave on our trip, our dog pinched a nerve in his neck and Juanita was diligent about helping him rest and relax and giving him plenty of love. She shared regular updates and our pup returned happy and well cared for. We would recommend Juanita and certainly will plan to have her watch our pup again for future trips!

Schedule
I’m a student with availability to play, go on walks and take care of your dog/cat. We are a family of three, so in case I have to go out there will be one or both of my parents to watch your puppy. Since we do not own any pets, we are the happiest when we have them at home for a while.

In my apartment building, there is a fun little yard where doggies are welcomed to play, and I also live very close to Fort Green park where we can go on walks and hang out with other dogs.
A typical day
I’m an active person and love spending time outdoors, so your pet will get plenty of exercise and fun! We could go for a run to Domino Park, play at Fort Greene Park, or simply enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood. Whether your pet loves to run, play, or just explore at their own pace, I’ll make sure they have a great time. :) This keeps it friendly, engaging, and highlights your active lifestyle. - I’d love to know about your dog’s personality—whether they’re a little nervous, not very social with other dogs, or super friendly and playful. This helps me choose the best places to go and know how to interact with them to make them feel comfortable. If your dog has been sick in the days leading up to their stay, please let me know in advance! Also, if they tend to pull on walks, I’d prefer they wear a harness instead of a collar for their safety and comfort.
