I currently work as a kennel technician at a dog and cat lodge/boarding facility where we provide daycare, rooming, and lure course activities. My responsibilities include cleaning kennels, preparing meals, administering medications, and safely handling dogs and cats of all temperaments and needs, including barrier-aggressive, blind, and deaf pets. I do let-outs, playtime, and daily care to make sure every animal stays safe, comfortable, and well cared for. My experience in a professional pet care environment has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to stay calm in high-energy situations.
