Don, Juan & Mika - Uptown
We are Don, Juan & Mika (our dog). We decided to do rover because our 2 year old Shiba Inu puppy loves company! Juan works from home full-time, so can provide frequent walks and lots of attention. Our dog Mika is a calm, laid back Shiba Inu who gets along with other dogs well and really enjoys the companionship of other dogs. Our household is dog friendly. We have lots of toys and a large, secured outdoor deck where they can play and sunbathe. We are only hosting 1 dog at a time and prefer to do meet and greets for new guests to make sure you are comfortable with our home and to ensure that your dog is friendly with others. When Juan and Don agreed to dog sit for my dog in their home, it was shortly after he was diagnosed with a serious disease. BJ was sick and needed constant supervision and exercise. Juan and Don were wonderful with BJ and their communication about his day, activity, needs and health were detailed and reflected the care and concern as if BJ were their own. Although BJ passed away within a month, I am not sure they will ever know the comfort and security they gave me to be able to go to work and not worry about my dog. To care for a sick dog says volumes about Juan and Don's character as people. I cannot say enough great things about them.
Juan and Don were amazing with Randy. I had to go out of town suddenly and am new in town so I didn’t trust anyone with my dog. They kept me up to date every day, were always accessible, and I will use them again for sure! Trustworthy, Sweet, Understanding and Reliable are how I will describe these guys!! Thanks so much!! Randy misses you!!
Juan and Don took great care of my dog, Penelope! I received regular updates, photos and videos of her stay. She seemed to have fun playing with their sweet dog Mika. They made her stay comfortable and fun! I would highly recommend them!
Juan, Don & Mika did an amazing job welcoming our puppy into their home. Juan was super patient with her as she got used to her new surroundings and provided regular updates in the form of photos and videos. We can’t wait to use them again!
