Tired dogs are happy dogs. It’s all about socialization and exercise. We are two animal loving adults. Your pet will always have the company of at least one of us. Our dog Graham loves the company of other dogs. We have a doggy door for anytime access to the yard to run and play. One of us is always there to supervise. We will play ball, frisbee, wrestle with and entertain/exercise your furry friend. Kennel training is not necessary. If your dog uses a kennel we will use it as per your instructions during their stay with us. We are happy to follow any instruction needed to make your pet feel as secure and loved as possible while you are away. As much as we love animals, we cannot accept un-neutered males. We have tried on many occasions, but the urge to mark and the general disruption of pack dynamics cannot be over looked. We do have cats but they stay in their own portion of the house. We would prefer a brief meet and greet whenever possible, but not required depending on my pack at the time.

Pleasure as always!
This is the second time we’ve used JR to dog sit, and we’ve been extremely happy both times. The first time it was one young adult dog, and this time it was a middle aged dog and a 6 month old puppy. We were nervous about how the puppy would do for so many days without us, but she did great. The communication and picture updates were so appreciated. We felt comfortable and so at ease the entire time.
Willow was so happy with JR and Lisa and has been moping around the house since we picked her up, wishing to be back there! It really was like a vacation for her. We got lots of pictures and updates and communication for pickup and dropoff was great. We'd definitely book with JR again!
Our pups had a great day playing and running around the yard at J.R.’s! We really appreciated the flexibility and ease of drop off and pick up. The big fenced yard was ideal for our young dogs to run around, and they enjoyed being around a few other daycare friends without being overwhelmed by too many dogs at once. J.R. provided updates and photos throughout the day, and I felt assured that our dogs were comfortable and happy. We will definitely book again! Thank you!
Just started with JR, but so far been great! Their home & yard are purpose-built for dogs. Our dog hasn’t had an ideal amount of dog socialization so it’s great to see him figuring out pack dynamics in an observed environment. We are looking forward to many more play dates at JR’s!

Schedule
We both work from home. We are very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Your pups will always have some company be it our dog or us. Whatever kind of attention they want most.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard and two of our neighbors have dogs. There is always some fence repairs happening to keep everyone contained and safe, The door gs have free run of the house and yard via a doggie door.

A typical day
We play fetch with the dogs and encourage positive socialization skills. There is wrestling and lots of snuggles and soft places to sleep. We love your dogs like our own.

- I love all dogs large and small, but un-neutered male dogs bring too many additional disruptions to the pack. The hormones drive them to mark and generally cause more disruptions with neutered males and females alike.
