Pet care experience
In the school year I am a youth program manager, and in the summer I am totally available to support with drop ins or walks for your animal companions. I recently adopted my own kitty kin, and am experienced with administering medication. I am intuitive and compassionate in my interactions with animals. I have been called a “cat whisperer” at times and find that dogs and cats both gravitate towards me. I'm excited to meet your pet!

Joyous took excellent care of our cat and our house while we were away for a week. Miss Cali is a young and social cat, prone to zoomies and mischief, so we knew we needed someone to stay vs just having someone check in. Joyous kept us updated with good communication and adorable pictures. And we came home to a happy and content kitty and everything in order. Joyous went above and beyond by putting away dishes and even putting a load of sheets and towels through the wash before departing, it was a real treat to come home to. We would love to have her take care of Cali again in the future!
Joyous was the absolute BEST! Wonderful personality, warm heart, and clear love for animals. My partner and I went out of town for 5 days over Thanksgiving and Joyous stayed at our house and took care of our two animals - Louis our pup, a lab/terrier mix, and Turbo our 12 year-old cat. She sent us pictures and updates regularly and even serenaded Louis with her guitar music! When we got home both of our boys were happy to see us but we could also tell they were well looked after - and the house was nice and tidy! From the moment we met Joyous we were taken and comforted by her honest, genuine nature and her proactive communication. We've been looking for someone to love our boys and whom we can trust in our home. We've found that someone in Joyous. We recommend her unreservedly!
Joyous did a great job with my cat! My cat has separation anxiety when I leave town, but there were no usual signs of her being stressed when I returned home. I’ll definitely be booking again!
Joyous was a dream to work with! Super responsive and sweet... and my, often, shy cat warmed right up to her! Would definitely book Joyous again.
