When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I understand how important consistency is. I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, have a clean litter box or yard, and most importantly—lots of love and attention. I take a calm and respectful approach to meeting new dogs and cats. I let them come to me on their terms, and whether they want playtime, cuddles, or just someone to quietly share space with, I’m there for them. For dogs, I provide plenty of one-on-one time—walks, play, mental stimulation, and affection—based on their energy level and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages, including those who may need extra help due to medical or behavioral issues. I always keep safety and cleanliness a top priority and will stay in communication with you throughout the visit so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.

It all depends on what your pet enjoys most! For dogs, I love going on walks around our neighborhood, trips to the Del Mar Dog Park (just 4 blocks away), or the beach (also 4 blocks away), playing fetch, tug-of-war, or simply spending time outside in our large front yard and nearby trails. Del Mar has a vibrant dog community, so your pup can enjoy socializing with other dogs if that’s important. I always match their energy—whether it’s active play or laid-back cuddle time. For cats, fun can mean interactive play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, brushing sessions, or quiet companionship while they nap nearby. I’ve spent years getting to know different feline personalities, so I always let them set the tone. Whether it’s playtime, exploration, or just keeping them company, I aim to make every visit enjoyable, enriching, and tailored to your pet’s personality.
