I’m currently working from home, part-time, and teaching yoga at a nearby gym a couple of days a week, so your sweet pet would rarely be home on their own.

My single-story home has a large, fenced yard where your dog can roam freely to play, take a sunbath, or chase butterflies. My 32 lb dog, Prema, will keep your dog company on daily walks and at home. The home has a doggie door, so your dog is free to roam in the house and outside. The doggie door is locked at night. Ideally, you would supply you dog’s favorite bed (although we have extras) a collar and leash, and preferred food with instructions on feeding timing, amount, etc. I want your pet to feel happy, safe, and have fun while here. 🦮

Also, I like to have your vet’s info, understand feeding timing and amounts, as well as daily schedule. I’d also like to know if they are comfortable going for car rides for hiking adventures.

I love to take the dogs for a couple of walks a day in the neighborhood. Depending on your dog’s proclivities, we can play fetch, play chase, and/or hang out and cuddle.

As a lifelong dog lover, I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood, growing up with Labrador Retrievers and learning firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, and affection. Over the years, I’ve helped whelp litters, fostered rescue dogs (including one who became a beloved member of our family), and cared for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My home is peaceful and dog-friendly, shared with my sweet mixed-breed dog, Prema, and features a large, securely fenced yard for safe play and exploration. Daily walks, plenty of attention, and a calm, nurturing environment ensure that every dog in my care feels comfortable, loved, and right at home.

Joyce took such good care of our puppy Sage. The videos and updates made my day and he holistic dog training tips were much appreciated. Would definitely book again.
Prema is a sweet and gentle spirit! She is very easy and submissive with other dogs and loves to be chased! She doesn't run up and "bother" other humans on the trails, but is kind and friendly if they approach her. She loves to run and jump like a kangaroo in the grasses, and her smile goes for miles.
I can confidently say she is one of the most caring, reliable, and responsible people I know. She has had several dogs of her own and has always shown incredible patience, attentiveness, and love toward animals of all ages. During COVID, she fostered three barely weaned puppies, ultimately adopting one and thoughtfully ensuring the others found wonderful homes. She even remains in contact with one of the adopters so the dogs can continue seeing each other regularly, which speaks volumes about the level of care and commitment she brings. I would trust her completely with any pet and know they would be safe, loved, and exceptionally well cared for in her hands.
I first met Joyce when she was fostering three puppies 6 years ago. We each ended up keeping one of the puppies and so the dogs have been able to see each other quite a bit. Joyce has been my go to caregiver for my dog, Koa, since we got him. She is amazing and always goes above and beyond to make sure Koa is safe, comfortable and well taken care of. She walks him twice a day, which he demands, and gives him lots of love. He always comes back happy and in excellent shape. I trust that Joyce will always take care of Koa no matter what situation she is faced with. I can absolutely recommend Joyce for your pet needs. She is the best!
