I have time to do morning, noon and evening care for both cats and dogs. From walks, runs and play time for dogs to playtime, movie time and cuddles for cats. I am a lover of cooking so no peculiar food preparation needs of your pet is too peculiar. I'm up for a challenge!

I currently do not offer boarding in my home but am comfortable to providing care or home stays if needed. I have done live-in care for friends who have dogs and cats and am always respectful of the space. My goal is to provide care as similar as possible to what the owners provide on a normal basis, to help the cat or dog feel the most comfortable while their humans are away.

I would like to know if the energy level the dog is, what their comfort items are, what their favorite activities are and what their dislikes are. It’s almost important to know how the pet likes their food prepared, if there are an special rituals at feeding time.
A typical day
As a baseline, I aim to start with whatever the owners typically do with their pet to create a comfortable transition for them. From there, I would engage in play, puzzles and walks if that is part of their routine.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of friend's and dogs of significant others over the past two decades. I have the most experience with small and big dogs. It doesn't seem like my friends have had many medium-sized dogs. From leisurely sniffer walks to 10 mile runs, I cover a wide range of doggie needs. From homebody to outdoor enthusiast, I have expreience in meeting the needs of dogs at various energy levels.

I absolutely recommend Joyce to anyone looking for a caring and diligent sitter for their beloved pets. She was so good with our two kittens and even our shy, reserved girl who's not great with strangers really took to her. She went above and beyond making sure our babies got all affection and attention they could want with plenty of treats and play. She also sent us tons of photos and videos and detailed notes on her visits, making us feel at ease while we were out of town. I will definitely be reaching out again the next time we need a cat sitter.

Joyce has watched my cat, Daisy, numerous times. She seems to have built a bond with her to which Daisy actually goes over to Joyce when calling Daisy’s name. Daisy seems to be well taken care of by Joyce. On a few occasions, Joyce watched Daisy for numerous Daisy and I received updates and photos.
