Availability
I work from home and my typically hours are 8 to 4. I live across from a park and pond (photos of the walking paths included). Given my life/work balance, I have plenty of time for long walks or a good game of tug-of-war in my back yard.

What's the most important thing I need to know to keep your baby happy and healthy? Tell me! Every detail is critical when it comes to the health and wellbeing of your fur babies. I like to stay well connect to pet owners while they are away and send daily photos and updates. These reports include my detailed notes of any medication given (date/time), behaviors, and if they are eating and drinking normally (based on the details you provide me).

Information Joy T. would like to know about your pet
Before watching your fur baby, I’ll want to completely understand their routine, feeding schedule and medications. I will ask you to provide your current vets location and phone number. What are their habits and kennel behaviors (if they are kennel trained). If they have siblings, what is that relationship like? Are they potty trained and what is their 'signal' that they need to go outside? Are they okay being around people or dogs that might be encountered on a walk?
A typical day
I love plush squeaky toys as much as our fur babies but never pass up on a good snuggle either. Walks are very important and I look forward to them every day. My favorite game is fetch in the backyard or playing into a cats natural prey drive with a feather wand. I love owners who offer a variety of toys so that there is always something to mentally simulate my temporary companions. If a dog knows tricks or commands, teach them to me. I love a good practice session when they are learning something new or just letting them show off their new talents for a reward.

Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs my entire life and, since I do not have a fur baby of my own have become the Designated Sitter for friends when they travel for business or go on vacation. I currently watch 2 different dogs with epilepsy and address seizures when/if they happen. I also watch a dog that is allergic to everything (especially grass). I administer both breathing treatments and allergy shots in addition to cleaning their paws with medicated wipes each time they go outside. Following a strict specialized diet, eyedrop, eardrop and oral medication schedule is critical when I spend time with this pup!
Reviews

My dog, Gabi, is not an easy keep but she did amazingly well with Joy. Joy will be our go to dog sitter every time!!

Joy was the absolute best! She took amazing care of my senior dog with special needs. She was very thorough in asking questions to make sure she knew his routine and tried hard to make her home feel like home for him. She sent updates daily with photos. When I picked him up I could tell he loved Joy and her home. I appreciate everything she did so much!

Great as always!! Andre was so happy to see Joy for his second stay with her. He has a great time and was very well taken care of!
Frank always loves his time with Joy, and actually got angry when she collected her stuff to leave. As always Joy leaves my place as she found it so that is nice to come home to everything taken care.
