I am a nurse by profession, so know how to care for others and I'm no stranger to caring for older animals as we had a 14 year old cat and a 15 year old dog that we loved and cared for their whole lives and will continue to miss them for the rest of ours.

A typical day
One of my friends dogs loves to play fetch, so we do that often, while another one has problems with her hip so she loves to play some but then loves to lay in the grass in the back yard and soak up the sun. We go on walks and we used to give our dog a food ball when she got older, so that she would still get a little more activity by putting half of her food in that and she would roll it with her nose and/or paws.

I've been around dogs since I was 5 years old. I have walked, played with, fed, cleaned up after them having accidents when they are older or as a puppy. I've cared not only for mine but also friends dogs while they are out of town. We has a puggle for 15 years, which passed away. Looking for a way to be with animals and get that interaction and loving in with your member of the family. That's how all of our animals were that I've had, they are family. Let me help make your time away from your precious family member be much more relaxed by knowing that he or she is being well taken care of. I send photos to my friends of their dogs when they are gone, so they know that they are doing fine and it makes them happy to see their dogs too. Look forward to meeting you!

Joy has been my neighbor and best friend for over 25 years. Our dogs have also been best friends over the years. Joy has a genuine love for animals and thinks of them as way more than a pet. She sees them as a forever part of the family. She has watched our dogs on more occasions than I can count while we have been traveling on vacation or just unable to get home to let them out or feed them a meal on a particular day. Although she is not a veterinarian, we have sought her advice on our dogs' health issues because of her many years of experience as a nurse. Her lifelong passion for animals is evident in the way she embraced her beloved puggle, Lola, for 15 wonderful years. Lola wasn't just a pet; she was a cherished member of the family, and the bond they shared was a testament to the love and care Joy provides. In addition to her role as a dog mama, she frequently opens her home to her long-time friends' dogs, Pumpkin and Autumn, treating them with the same warmth and affection she gave to Lola. Her nurturing spirit and genuine love for animals make her the perfect caregiver for any pet. With so much love to give, Joy is not only a wonderful caregiver but also a friend to all animals.
