Pet care experience
Senior dog parents. Both home FT!
In 2017 my sister asked me to watch her 60 pound pit mix while her house was being built. That is where our love of dogs began! We loved her so much we didn't want to give her back after 8 months. In 2018 we got my mini dachshund (Prada) and our corgi-chihuahua mix (Hugo). We have most experience with senior dogs. When we moved to AZ we have cared for another senior long dog anytime his dog Mom needs it since 2021. Our dog Hugo went deaf and was diagnosed with Cushing's disease so we have experience with deaf and special needs pups. Unfortunately, our sweet baby Hugo (our corgi-chihuahua in the pics) passed November 2023 🌈

Seriously the best sitters. I never worry about my Ayva in their hands. She's excited when we pull up to play with her friends and I absolutely love it!
Matthew and Joy did an amazing job taking care of Ayva while I was on vacation for over two weeks. They were incredibly caring, attentive, and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free for me. They gave her monthly medicine while she was with them, sent me lots of sweet pictures and videos, and clearly gave her so much love and attention. It was such a relief knowing Ayva was being so well cared for while I was away. I would happily trust them with her again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for pet sitters.

We both work from home so we are both home all the time so can both care for your pup! For drop ins and walks usually one of us will be doing the drop in or walk.

Safety, trust & environment
Our home is a single story home so no stairs! We also have a doggy door, to a fully fenced newly remodeled backyard, so the pups can let themselves out whenever they need. We do try to go out with the dogs any time they go out just to make sure they do go potty and make sure there aren't any issues. We do have a pool, but we installed fences so the dogs cannot go near the pool. Just for transparency; we usually only host one dog at a time for boarding, however, if we have other boarding requests for dogs that we have watched in the past and we know they get along well with other dogs we could possibly have more than one dog boarded with us at a time.

A typical day
Our dog (Prada) is older so she is pretty much a couch potato. She is not able to walk far in her old age so we had our yard completely redone with her and all guest dogs in mind; for their safety, ability to roam and they can sunbathe as they please.

- A meet & greet prior to booking is required for new clients. BOARDING & DAY CARE: Just ahead of your dogs stay, please let us know your pups eating schedule and measurements. You can bring as much or as little as you want for your dogs stay. We have plenty of dog beds and dog bowls as well as 2 small kennels. Don't forget to include if your fur baby has any medications that need to be given or allergies so I can be sure to give them some extra care. DROP INS: A code or key to the home for entry will be needed and we just need to know where your pups food/snacks are located, where to be let out, etc. WALKS: We need to know any likes or dislikes when it comes to passing other dogs or people. PICKUP & DROP OFF: Round trip rate is for a 5 mile radius from our home.
