I’m located in central Edgewater and commute to Manhattan at least twice a week, typically to the Columbus Circle or Financial District areas. While in Manhattan, I’m available to provide weekday dog-walking services.

A typical day
I live by the Hudson, so love taking walks along there when the weather is nice. If I see that the dog is restless, I take him/her to the fenced doggy park (with the owner's permission) in North Bergen and burn off their energy.

Pet care experience
I cared for my own Bichon for over 10 years and have spent six months fostering both senior dogs and puppies. I’m experienced with administering medication and can comfortably support pets with special needs. My first foster was a blind, 15-year-old poodle who required cataract eye drops twice a day, so I’m very familiar with gentle, attentive care. I’m also in Manhattan at least twice a week and offer walks in both the Columbus Circle area and the Financial District.

Joy stayed with my Kitty for the 2nd time & it was another GREAT visit. My kitty loves Joy & Joy sent me photos/video of him eating his treats! Joy is wonderful!
We had our dog, Vanyel, spend one night with Joy as a test run before some longer trips. Joy was very easy to coordinate with and is very responsive. Vanyel spent the night at Joy’s home. When I pick him up the next day, he didn’t want to leave. He laid down staring at Joy’s door after she left! Vanyel is a 14 year old senior with medical conditions. Joy took great care of him.
Joy is super great! She came to stay with my kitty, Mel, while I went out for a few hours. Mel loved her and she even got a video of him curling up in her lap. So sweet. Joy has a wonderful personality. One that is perfect for caring for our pets - she has a calming and caring way about her. I took to her right away and knew Mel was in good hands. I will definitely ask Joy to come back and Mel.
Came in at the absolute last second call to take care of my babies. Followed instructions to a tee. Will hire again!
