Animal-Lover for your Fur-Babies :)
As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. I have also pet-sit for friends and family all my life. I truly love animals. I go in with this mindset: how would I want others to treat my home-space and my own pet? My aim is that you can travel with a peaceful certainty your pet will be showered with love and attention, and you don't have to worry. I genuinely love animals, and as an introvert, I spend most of my free time with them whenever I can.

At the moment, I do not care for pets in my own home. But if I get the opportunity I would put just as much care and compassion in that as I do as a walker/sitter.

Joy took good care of our fur babies and home. She sent daily updates with cute photos so we could relax and know they were doing well.
Joy was very attentive and so kind to our pets! She kept great communication and I know our pets were in great hands. Will happily welcome Joy back!
From the moment I met Joy at our meet and greet, I felt very comfortable having her stay at our house to watch our dog and cats. Our dog Chance took to her right away, and the cats soon became quick friends as well. She sent us pictures and text each day, took Chance on daily walks, brought over extra toys to amuse the kitties, and even washed the sheets and remade the bed. All in all, Joy was a complete JOY to have at our house watching our fur family.
Joy is an excellent dog sitter! After having a couple of bad experiences with Rover I was relieved to find Joy. She is a reliable professional who treated my pets as if they were her own. She watched my dogs and cat for 7 days. I returned home from a much needed vacation to happy pets who thrived while I was gone. She walked them twice a day, fed them a prescribed diet, gave snuggles and even successfully gave medication to my older dog. She sent me updates with photos twice a day which was much appreciated. I will definitely use her again. Hands down she is the best sitter I have found in Spokane. I highly recommend Joy!
Joy was fantastic! She walked my dogs, which most sitters have not been able to do, but my dogs warmed to her so quickly. She has a wonderful way with animals and she took such good care of my 4 pets and my house. Highly recommend!
Joy was everything we could have asked for in a dog sitter! She showed up as scheduled, followed any special instructions, and gave us very reassuring updates every visit. Even in the cold weather, she was so attentive to our dog and played with him outside the entire visit. I would 100% hire her again, without hesitation!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible. I make my own hours with my online work, and I am usually available for sitting anytime. My summer sitting schedule is open, and as a newbie to this site, I'm looking forward to doing a really good job at a reasonable starting rate. (So far I've had a great experience). I am responsible and extremely mindful of people's plans and expectations. I try to be as professional as I can, returning messages as soon as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I am a creative arts teacher (working online) and I hail from Central Oregon. I have an MA in Myth and Psych, and I really like to travel and learn new things. platform. Animals are by-far my favorite thing, on par with painting and writing. My main passion is painting. I love experimenting with acrylic on canvas and I am trying to teach myself watercolor. I’m introverted and love to read and write. Animals, especially dogs, have my whole heart. I have always wanted a pet, but my love of travel has held me back. When not traveling, I'm a homebody. (In short, I’d probably prefer to hang out with your pet, rather than go out on the town..) I like to be cozy with books, tea, and walks in nature. I have a car, and I am flexible with my schedule. I want to accomadate the sensitivities and special needs of any household and/or pets, and I welcome anyway I can to make you feel more comfortable with me as your pet-trustee.
